Meet Your Trainer: Sharon Baublitz

With 40 years of dog training experience, Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Keystone Pet Place. She has shown dogs in Conformation and Obedience and has earned titles in Rally and Dock Diving.

What Will You and Your Dog Learn?

Our classes cover essential obedience skills, confidence-building exercises, and everyday manners to help make life with your dog more enjoyable.

Basic Commands & Obedience

• Sit, down, sit-look, and down-look

• Stay, wait, and stand

• Come when called

• Walk nicely on a loose lead

• “Leave it” and “give it”

• Face and body exercises

Confidence & Fun

• Every class ends with a fun trick, such as spin, shake, or catch, along with door manners.

• Introduction to The Klime Platform, with exercises such as paws up, get-up, and take a bow. This technique helps build focus and confidence while strengthening the relationship between you and your dog.

Have questions or concerns about your dog's behavior? We’ll discuss common challenges, including:

• House training

• Biting and nipping

• Jumping

• Barking

What to Bring to Class

Please bring the following items to your first session:

• Rabies vaccination certificate (required for dogs over 4 months old)

• Non-retractable leash

• Bite-sized training treats

• A towel, mat, or bed for your dog to sit on
